Welcome, Erin Myers!

Counseling at The Green House is pleased to welcome Erin Myers, LMFTA, to our team of therapists. With a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Erin can see children, adults, and couples. She will start seeing clients on March 22nd

Meet Erin:

Life is full of adjustments. Some are small enough to miss, while others feel like trying to grow gills and live underwater. My passion is helping clients through transition. I specialize in the area of intercultural transitions and cross-cultural relationships. Having lived and worked internationally, and in an intercultural marriage, I understand how those transitions can make or break the person you want to be. In addition to adults and couples in transition, I also enjoy using elements of Play Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) with children

in transitions.

Counseling is about meeting you where you are, discovering where you want to go, and

creating your path to get there. As a therapist, I know that that process is wildly different for everyone. So, while I am trained in many models of therapy, I follow a present-focused, client driven approach to sessions. I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate working under supervision toward full licensure. In addition, I hold a master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. I hold additional certifications in Gottman Step 1 and Step 2, as well as training in Trauma Focused CBT for kids and Behavioral Therapy.
