Danielle Zink, LMHC-A introduces the Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) based on Dr. Stephen Porges' Polyvagal Theory. he SSP is a research-based therapy showing significant results in emotional regulation, auditory sensitivities, anxiety, trauma response, inattention, and social engagement. By calming the physiological and emotional state, the door is opened for improved communication and more successful therapy. This listening therapy helps reduce anxiety, reduce auditory sensitivities, and increase social and emotional regulation. At Counseling at The Green House, we often recommend SSP for children or adults with a history of trauma. To get started with SSP, please contact scheduling@greenhouseindy.com
